Girl Talk – All Day

I still remember the first time I heard Night Ripper back in 2006. It was unlike anything I had ever heard before and entranced me from start to finish (the Juicy/Tiny Dancer mash-up still gives me shivers). Girl Talk’s follow up album Feed The Animals was released 2 years later and in my opinion, exceeded the high standard set by Night Ripper. The number of hours and edits that must have gone into these productions is mind numbing.

With the release of All Day , Girl Talk (who is a former Biomedical Engineer) solidifies himself as the greatest mash up artist of all time. It is an incredible piece of work by a true musician. Anybody who can get people singing along to Drake’s “Over” on top of A Flock Of Seagulls (57:00) or Rye Ryes “Bang” over Rage Against The Machine (37:05) has rightfully earned their place in the “legend” category.
